Eventually, it can happen to anyone to come into a situation from which they cant go anywhere when it comes to the personal life organization. Therefore, if you want to be on top of everything, to simplify your life and keep it organized in essence all you need is a personal organizer which can help you to achieve all of that.
Aimed at wide audience, AllMyNotes Organizer is a versatile, feature-rich personal organizer that can easily help you catch strings between all your ideas, notes, contacts, diaries etc. Just to put it straight, AllMyNotes Organizer functions primarily as an advanced note-taker and that's it. Anyway, It comes very intuitive and extremely easy to use. Everything is neatly arranged, there are a lot of features available, most of them stored in highly customizable toolbar, that will help you organize your daily routine with no effort whatsoever.
The program's biggest advantage is its ability to store notes in a single, encrypted file, organized like a file tree. The main screen is divided onto two main areas, folder tree on the left side and workspace on the right where you view and fill your notes. By default you can save your notes in several main categories and subcategories, but you are not limited here, you can customize tree anytime according to your needs. You can organize folders/notes as you want, simply by moving them up and down with the mouse pointer. Also adding, copying, deleting are known operations and can be done easily, while visual experience of the tree may be set for better recognition. You can add icon, color, task marking (completed or not), bold font and task priority.
As any other operation, browsing trough tree is very fast and easy to use, to get the picture, if we had eyes covered, browsing would have been considered as difficult. Three, ten, fifty notes/folders do not make a difference, a few mouse clicks and you are done. In addition, you can get even more speed by using global search tool that with a little fine tuning in the form of a filter tool can get you straight to the point.
The product has implemented simplified text editor similar to Microsoft Word, which carries out all editing operations that you need when working with text. You can insert various items such as pictures, attachments in notes, stamp date/time at that is basically that. Thus, we would like to see more advanced editor, however even this, pretty basic one will do the trick.
Although we have indicated several times that all the settings are extremely easy to set and this tool has not confusing parts whatsoever, for those users who find for some reason this tool confusing there is implemented detailed built in help file fully equipped with all the informations that you need. Just pick contents from help menu from the top and you are ready to go step by step. Also to be sure you are protected there are password protection system that will keep your private information safe, away from the curious eyes and automatic backup which you can schedule to autosave your database just to be sure you don't lose your important data.
While we were working with this tool something was constantly gaining our attention. At the first few tests AllMyNotes Organizer really showed its strength and we were definitely pleased with it. Yet, we can not neglect the fact that while we were further working with it we couldn't help but notice this is nothing more then a powerful notes tool. We must remain reserved about this, thus if the developer classified this tool only as a notes tool then its ok, but if tool is classified as PIM then we stand behind our first impression. We were unable to see task scheduler, inevitable calendar, alarm clock and any other thing that powerful PIM should possess.
Now concerning looks, AllMyNotes Organizer looks professional, full of details, all icons, covers, folders look very nice on all counts. AllMyNotes Organizer really does not lack graphic details, however it would not hurt a little more face lifting on the big yellow folders.
Long story short, AllMyNotes Organizer impressed us with its simplicity and intelligibility, it works at high speed, and we can not neglect its efficiency but only if it's viewed as a note-taker. Otherwise, as a PIM, it stands no chance against the competition. So if you are looking for a notes tool, why not, try this one out.
