Apple releases iOS 5

Apple has officially rolled out iOS 5 operating system for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.

iOS 5 is the latest iOS release from the company and brings to the table a new free messaging service called iMessenger, a revamped notification system, Twitter integration across a range of apps and a number of other highly requested updates.

Along with iOS 5, Apple has released iTunes 10.5 and the much anticipated iCloud service. iCloud is Apple's new cloud storage solution that allows users to securely store data such as music, videos, apps, backups etc. from Mac and iOS devices in the cloud.

To get the latest iOS 5 update, if you didn't already instal the latest version of iTunes, connect your device, and update it from within iTunes.

iOS 5 is a free update compatible with the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and 3GS, as well as with iPad, iPad 2 and the latest iPod touch devices.
